About me
I have trained as a secondary mathematics teacher which has given me the knowledge and experience to become a tutor.
Since September 2011 I have tutored students for Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, GCSE, IGCSE, A level and the QTS numeracy skills test. I have also provided work based numeracy skills in an office environment.
I offer a friendly, dedicated and reliable service. I cater for students at all levels and abilities working with them to build confidence in areas where they need support. I believe that all students are capable of achievement and that maths should be enjoyable and not a chore. I have a great passion for maths and I hope to be able to pass this onto my students.

Session plans
All sessions are planned to meet the needs of individual students. For each student, the content and structure of sessions may vary from week to week and I am happy for students to choose the topic of study. Activities include
- jointly working through questions and problems
- teaching and recapping specific topics
- working through past exam papers.
I will work with students on a regular basis (usually weekly) for long-term support to their studies; for a fixed period in preparation for particular exams; or for individual sessions to help in a specific area.
